BeeLab

BeeLab is a Swedish digital tool for beekeepers – from hobbyists with a few hives to commercial beekeepers and beekeeping associations. The app is built by beekeepers for beekeepers and works just as well on your phone out in the apiary as on your computer at home.
BeeLab brings all your beekeeping together in one place:
- Apiaries and hives on a map, with weather data from SMHI (the Swedish weather service)
- Inspections with ready-made forms for queen, brood, stores and varroa
- Honey all the way from harvest and jarring to batch and label
- Sales and receipts
- Treatment log that can be exported as PDF
- Seasonal wheel, calendar and reminders
- Quick notes in the apiary – scan the QR code on the hive or dictate
- Live weight, temperature and humidity data via BeeLab Gateway
The app is made by BeeLab Technology Sweden AB, founded in 2020. BeeLab works with districts and associations within the Swedish Beekeepers’ Association (SBR). If you enter your SBR district, association and membership number in your profile, part of the licence fee goes back to your district and/or association – if they have a partnership with BeeLab. In some cases the district also subsidises your licence.
