How is the queen shipped?
The queen is sent by post in an introduction cage with attendant bees that look after her on the way. We ship Monday to Wednesday so she isn’t left lying in the post over the weekend. Before shipping, we film a short video showing that she is alive.
What if the queen arrives dead?
Then we send you a new queen free of charge. Get in touch as soon as you have opened the package.
How much does a queen cost and how do I pay?
An open-mated Buckfast queen (F1) costs SEK 600 including shipping. Payment is easy with Swish.
Can I pre-order queens or nucs?
Yes. Queens for next season can already be pre-ordered using the form on the Queens page. Nucs can be pre-ordered and are ready in June–July.
How do I introduce the queen into my colony?

Is your apiary inspected?
Yes. The apiary is inspected by a bee inspector before delivery, and we are registered beekeepers with the County Administrative Board (Länsstyrelsen).
