We care about your privacy. Here we describe what personal data we process when you visit guldbigard.com or contact us, why we do it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data we collect
When you use the contact form, email, call or message us, we process the information you provide yourself:
- name
- email address and/or phone number
- the content of your message
- when ordering: what you ordered, payment details from Swish (name and phone number) and, for delivery, your address
Why we process the data
- To answer your questions – legal basis: legitimate interest.
- To handle bookings and orders of queens, nucs and honey – legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To meet legal requirements, for example the Swedish Bookkeeping Act – legal basis: legal obligation.
- Registrations of interest for next season – we only contact you about what you have registered interest in.
We never sell your data and do not send newsletters without your consent.
How long we keep the data
Messages and registrations of interest are kept for as long as needed to respond to them, but no longer than 24 months. Data linked to purchases is kept for as long as the Bookkeeping Act requires (seven years).
Who has access to the data
The data is handled by us at Guldbigård. We use the following suppliers, who process data on our behalf:
- STRATO – web hosting (servers within the EU)
- Google – email (Gmail), visitor statistics (Google Analytics, only if you consent) and the map on the contact page (Google Maps, only if you consent)
- Swish and your bank – for payments
Cookies
The website uses necessary cookies that are needed for the site to work. With your consent, we also use cookies for anonymous visitor statistics (Google Analytics) and show a map from Google Maps. You choose in the banner shown on your first visit and can change your choice at any time. We do not use any cookies for advertising. Read more in our cookie policy. The fonts on the website are hosted on our own server, so no data is sent to Google when the page loads.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- find out what data we hold about you (subject access)
- have incorrect data corrected
- have your data erased when it is no longer needed
- object to or request restriction of processing
- receive your data in a machine-readable format (data portability)
